Forty-Five Families Have New Homes in Derac

Food For The Poor Canada has finished building 45 out of 60 homes in Derac, Haiti. Forty-five families have moved into their new homes, and the remaining 15 homes are being constructed.

Food For The Poor Canada is committed to helping Haiti recover from the earthquake’s devastation as communities in southern Haiti deal with the aftermath. We are working with Food For The Poor Haiti to rebuild homes and respond to the greatest immediate needs of families affected by this disaster.

Earthquake in Haiti, Emergency Response

Food For The Poor is responding immediately following a 7.2-magnitude earthquake that struck Haiti’s southern peninsula, about 80 miles west of Port-au-Prince, early Saturday.

Food and Medical Distribution Update: The First Half of 2021
