This week, Food For The Poor Canada and partners loaded a 40′ container full of medicines, medical supplies and educational supplies for hospitals and schools in Jamaica.

The container includes 10,000 educational books which we were able to purchase thanks to funds provided by Toronto Kiwanis Foundation, 60,000 pens donated by Zebra Pen Canada and 65,000 pencils by Joseph Groia. All these donations will support our early childhood education initiatives in Jamaica.

We were also able to include $500,000 worth of medicines and medical supplies for health care facilities in Jamaica, thanks to our cooperation with Health Partners International of Canada.

To cover the costs for shipping and distribution of a container like this one, we rely on continuous support from our donors. Find out how you can get involved.

Together we are stronger and can help more people!
