On Easter Saturday, a fishing boat in Haiti donated by Food For The Poor  and their donors, was used by FFP fishermen to rescue two people who had been blown out to sea and lost for hours in the region of Pierre Payen in Haiti. One of the people rescued was the cousin of the Air Transat pilot Gilles Hudicourt who had connected Food For The Poor Canada with Air Transat.

Air Transat donated a plane and staff to FFPC for an emergency flight in November to send life saving supplies to Haiti – water tablets and medicines after Hurricane Matthew.

#Gratitude to our #donors for supporting fishing villages in #Haiti and the local fishermen for #savinglives.
